Christmas is just around the corner – time to think about more than just yourself and your loved ones! During Hugo Tempelman’s visit last week, €725.00 has already been donated to the “XMAS HAMPERS”. Hugo took this money with him on Tuesday so that he could hand it over to the “Christmas helpers” straight away. The “XMAS HAMPERS” are for the AIDS orphans of the children’s homes in Elandsdoorn. Each package contains food and drink for 4 children and a small Christmas present.
Of course, a Christmas party is also organized to help the children forget their worries and fears during this special time. The “XMAS HAMPERS” not only help these children to get better food over the holidays, but also to not feel completely excluded and abandoned.
To make all the children happy, €1005.00 is still missing. Each gift basket has a value of 300 Rand, which corresponds to €22. The aim is to collect 80 of these hampers.
