Energetix has been supporting the work of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation for 12 years now. Every year, the company presents a generous cheque as part of a magnificent gala evening to mark the presentation of the latest catalog. This evening usually takes place together with the many employees of Energetix Bingen in a beautiful location, accompanied by an entertaining supporting program. We sit together, laugh, eat and celebrate. But in Corona times, this is all a little different.
The event, which took place in a studio with a presenter, Managing Director Roland Förster and a few invited guests, was streamed into living rooms. Live links to the employees and supporters created a feeling of togetherness despite the physical distance.
Once again this year, the company took the opportunity to present the work of Hugo Tempelman so that the new employees could immediately understand why Energetix is so committed to the interests of our foundation.
In three short films, the Ndlovu Care Group was portrayed as the implementing organization on site in South Africa. The next film showed the international success story of the Ndlovu Youth Choir. Energetix also played a key role in this development, as it was only through years of continuous support for Hugo Tempelman’s children and youth projects that it was possible to form this group and give them these opportunities. Their own will and discipline have taken them further than many other young people with far better starting opportunities. But the foundation for this development was laid by the faith and years of encouragement from the many supporters.
Finally, the current project of the Ndlovu Care Group, which is supported by the Hugo Tempelman Foundation, was also highlighted. The support of physically and mentally impaired children and young people. The generous donation of 50,000 euros that Energetix is donating to the Hugo Tempelman Foundation this year will primarily go towards this project.
In addition, the sales employees launched the piggy bank campaign, in which they directly draw their customers’ attention to the work and commitment of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation at their events. Once again, more than 2,000 euros were raised.
So much commitment and energy never ceases to amaze us. We are so grateful to have a partner like Energetix at our side. With this support, we can make a real difference and provide help that goes directly to where it is needed.
