In cooperation with the South African Ministry of Health, tuberculosis patients are treated free of charge at the Ndlovu Medical Center. As around two thirds of patients are also HIV-positive, the six-month tuberculosis treatment is often followed by the HIV therapy program. The visible recovery of the patients, who are often severely weakened at the beginning, is impressive.
