The 17th Mainz Gutenberg Marathon started last Sunday in perfect running weather with over 8500 participants. This year, our sponsor Energetix made up around 1% of the runners. A large group of committed runners thus supported the work of Hugo Tempelman. For every kilometer run, ENERGETIX Bingen donated 2 euros to the Hugo Tempelman Foundation. This money is urgently needed for the work of the Ndlovu Child Care Program in South Africa. As every year, the Energetix runners received prominent support from Joey Kelly. Hugo and Liesje Tempelman also took part in this year’s marathon. They were accompanied by their son Gijs. We congratulate all the runners on a great performance and are delighted that Roland Förster, Managing Director of Energetix, has topped up the amount raised to 6,500 euros.
