The new transport bus – a great relief for the children from the Jorishaus rehabilitation center for the disabled

Thanks to the commitment of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation and the support of Bild hilft “Ein Herz für Kinder” e.V., the children of the Jorishaus rehabilitation center for the disabled can look forward to a new vehicle.

A new transport bus, which has been specially converted for transporting disabled children, is now available for daily transportation between Jorishaus and the children’s homes.

As the childcare center includes daycare, the daily commute for the children and their family members has to be managed. However, this should not be a reason for families not to be able to offer their children help if they have long and arduous journeys ahead of them. To ensure that no one is disadvantaged, transportation is part of the service offered by the Ndlovu Care Group.

Daily transportation ensures that the children are cared for at the daycare facility. This is because the distances are often too far and too difficult for the families.

Thanks to the support of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation and Bild hilft e.V. “Ein Herz für Kinder”, it was possible to purchase the handicapped-accessible transport bus for the Jorishaus.

The wheelchair-accessible transport bus ensures daily transportation to the rehabilitation center.
