Once again this year, the children in the Ndlovu Child Care Program had a merry Christmas party with games, face painting, music and dancing and, of course, food and presents. The children all had a lot of fun. Many thanks to everyone involved in making this Christmas party a success – the tireless Ndlovu staff, the volunteers and the Champ team.
This year, paralyzed children took part in the party for the first time. This is already a small foreshadowing of the major developments in 2016, when Hugo Tempelman plans to set up a fully-fledged and urgently needed project for children and young people with disabilities. The need for such facilities is immense. The first care building is due to open in the spring. During our visit in October, we were able to see the start of construction. We will report further on this project in the coming year.
