The first day of school at the Bloempoort Minicampus

There is enthusiasm and excitement about the new preschool in Bloempoort. At the opening on January 11, the three classes were already full with a total of 78 children. There is enough space for up to 90 children. Despite the extreme heat, many parents also attended the first parents’ meeting.

The Ndlovu team is already prepared to admit families with malnourished children to the Nutritional Units. The children also receive free monthly audiology examinations when the Ndlovu Audiology Team treats patients at the Bloempoort Minicampus.

The Chill Hub is also prepared for the big rush. Children can spend time here after school, do their homework, meet friends or take advantage of one of the activities on offer. The computer school and the Internet café are ready and waiting for the first visitors. The first computer courses will open for enrollment shortly.

Everything is geared towards enabling the pupils to graduate from school and also to significantly improve the final grades in this underdeveloped region of Bloempoort.
