As part of the after-school support programs, the Ndlovu Care Group offers tutoring, mentoring and career guidance with a focus on science and mathematics. A computer course is also offered. There are currently 500 students enrolled and they are benefiting greatly from the program.
Thobile Nkosi is a 9th grade student who attends extra classes in economics, management science and mathematics. Through her regular attendance, she has managed to score 88% in Mathematics and 87% in Economics. She is one of the best students at Kgothala Secondary School.
But regardless of the percentages, all students who want to continue their education after the regular lessons are winners. Anyone who wants to can drop in at Bloempoort and Elandsdoorn. The program is free of charge and can be attended at any time.
