In November last year, we reported on the generous donation from Thomann, which is providing the Ndlovu Youth Choir with new instruments and the facilities for a recording studio and DJ equipment.
Now the instruments have finally arrived and the children thank us profusely with the following short video.
The choirmaster Ralf Schmitt’s wish for equipment for a recording studio, in which his own productions can be recorded and young people can also be trained, went beyond the scope of the donation, so we as a foundation also made our financial contribution. We are convinced that the promotion of musical talent plays an important social role and therefore want to do everything we can to support such efforts.
That’s why we were so pleased to see the following Facebook post from the Ndlovu Youth Choir:
“The Ndlovu Youth Choir invited choirs from the surrounding area to a choir festival at the Miracle Theater last weekend. It was a wonderful performance by the choir, for many of the new members it was their first time performing in the theater.
This was also the first time the new choir microphones were used, which worked extremely well with the digital mixing console sponsored by the Hugo Tempelman Foundation. Our sincere thanks for this.
We are planning many more such concert events to promote the choir and network with other choirs in Gauteng.”
When help arrives so directly, is used and implemented, then a major goal has been achieved. With the support of numerous donors, we are delighted to be able to get so much development underway and to allow so many new ideas to emerge.
