Yesterday there was a big Christmas performance for the children with disabilities from the Ndlovu Care Group rehabilitation center Jorishaus. Probably for the first time in their lives, they were part of a performance and each child was allowed to take on a role – even if it was just to look magical like a little angel. They all did a wonderful job.
This shows once again that the commitment that Hugo and his Ndlovu Care Group have made this year in the area of disability support was necessary. These children now have a Christmas in a community where there was no place for them before. And that’s what Christmas is all about: cohesion among people.
That is why two more of these centers are to be built in the area. Funds are still needed for this. Social projects in South Africa do not receive any financial support from the state. We are therefore dependent on further donations.
