Not only the children of the Ndlovu Rehabilitation Center had their Christmas party last week, but also the other children of the Ndlovu Child Care Program.
200 children took part in the festivities at the Miracle Theater. The highlight of the event was of course the gift bags, which were available for all ages.
Rachel – who used to sing in the choir and then successfully completed her training as a nurse – now works full-time at the Ndlovu Rehabilitation Center Jorishaus. She leads the children to form a small choir and sing together. Everyone was quite excited but also so engaged that the enthusiasm immediately spread to the audience and many songs were sung together. It was a fantastic experience.
And of course Santa Claus also came, which the very youngest children were initially extremely reserved and skeptical about. But when the first children received some fantastic presents, their reticence quickly turned into excitement and everyone wanted their own present from Santa.
A great experience for the little ones, who have not experienced so many happy things in their lives so far.
