News from Jorishaus – the care center for disabled children of the Ndlovu Care Group

The Ndlovu Care Group’s Jorishaus has now completed its first quarter. Time to take a look at the current figures. 19 children are currently admitted. They are between 4 and 25 years old. 9 have cerebral palsy and 10 have intellectual disabilities.

The small team that looks after the children using this innovative approach to community support consists of an occupational therapist and two health workers from the community under the leadership of Moronga Magongoe.
