Hugh Masekela died on January 23, 2018. He was a famous South African trumpeter, singer and composer. He is considered one of the most important jazz and world music pioneers from South Africa. The choir recorded a short video in his honor, which clearly shows the great commitment and, above all, the joy of the young choir members in music. In memory of Bra Hugh.
