Ndlovu Youth Choir inspires once again at the Africa Festival 2024 in Würzburg

The International Africa Festival in Würzburg celebrated its 35th anniversary this year with a rousing performance by the Ndlovu Youth Choir. After the choir had already caused a sensation in 2019 and won the newcomer prize of the “Africa Festival Award”, it now opened the big anniversary festival on May 30, 2024.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir was founded in 2009 as part of the Ndlovu Child Care & Youth Development Program of the Ndlovu Care Group with children and young people from the township of Elandsdoorn and has since developed into a very successful choir that performs worldwide.

This year’s Africa Festival, which took place under the motto “Different Colours – One People”, was a peaceful and harmonious event that celebrated the diversity and unity of cultures. The Federal President’s speech at the opening of the festival underlined the importance of this event for intercultural exchange and mutual understanding, and the Hugo Tempelman Foundation has supported the choir from the very beginning , and we are delighted to be part of a festival that not only offers cultural highlights, but also supports social projects that give hope and prospects for the future.
