NDLOVU CARE GROUP becomes a public vaccination center

The Ndlovu Care Group has received permission from the Ministry of Health to support the fight against the COVID19 pandemic as a vaccination center.

The first shipment of vaccine from Pfizer arrived at the end of last week. Thirteen fully equipped laptop workstations are ready for the registration and verification of personal data of the community members to be vaccinated.
The team, consisting of sixteen well-trained and dedicated helpers, is prepared for the rush of visitors.
All choir members over 18 have been vaccinated and are tirelessly helping to motivate all residents to get vaccinated.
Ndlovu has set up a vaccination station – see photos below – that complies with all hygiene and distancing rules.

The program began on Monday morning. By the evening, 228 people from the community had been vaccinated. Hugo told us: “We hope to become a ‘high through put site’ with at least 1000 vaccinations per day.
