This is the second anniversary of the death of the founder and father of the new South Africa: “Madiba” Nelson Mandela.
We miss him.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner’s thoughts are more relevant than ever: “To deny a person his human rights is to deny him his humanity.”
In the turmoil and uncertainty of our society today, we should take Madiba’s words to heart:
“No one is born hating other people because of their skin color, ethnic origin or religion. Hate is learned. And if you learn to hate, you can also learn to love. Because love comes much more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
