Fear, uncertainty, snap judgments, science and politics, everyone has their opinion, but the real facts, data and above all the coming weeks will decide what will change.
There are still many uncertainties about how to deal with this variant, which only science and experience will show us.
At this point in time, we can state that every positive PCR test here at the Ndlovu laboratories is the Omikron variant.
It is frightening to see how quickly the delta variant has been overtaken by this new mutation.
