Things are moving forward in Bhubezi. As the second clinic of the Ndlovu Care Group, the clinic in Bhubezi was opened in 2007. As in Elandsdoorn, the medical facilities have now been expanded and secured and more attention can be paid to social issues. Recently, the Bhubezi employees founded the Bhubezi Champs team. Dressed in their team colors, they are more than motivated to face their opponents. Most of the team members come from the community of Lillydale. The clinic management is fully behind the team and their message: they want to raise awareness of the services provided to the community at the Bhubezi Medical Center. Public health services are offered here, including HIV counseling and testing, as well as HIV and TB treatment, care and support. But of course diagnostic services (laboratory, ultrasound, X-rays), pharmaceutical services, prenatal care or cervical cancer treatment are also included. The population should be encouraged to make greater use of these services. The Bhubezi-Champs kick off the campaign by informing people about the existing options.
