The main purpose of the Ndlovu sports, arts and culture program is to promote the talents of young people and improve their fitness. However, the programme also sees itself as a safe haven for young children who could become victims of abuse in the disorganized after-school environment.
In order to keep children off the streets and away from the associated dangers such as drugs, alcohol, crime or teenage pregnancies, it is important to offer them meaningful alternative activities.
Ball sports
The Ndlovu Care Group's sports grounds offer a variety of ball sports, all of which are very popular. These include soccer, volleyball, basketball and netball.
Fun fact
A sports league was founded on the Elandsdoorn JCF pitches at the beginning of 2020. One of the children was accepted into the South African Football Association's soccer academy in February 2020, where he trains with the U16 national team.

Fitness center
The program includes fitness and aerobics training. Twice a week, the disabled children in the rehabilitation program also take part in the aerobic exercises.
Fun fact
There are currently plans to open a boxing school, which will benefit the PowerGirls program in particular. The aim is to empower girls, promote self-confidence and teach them how to defend themselves.

Tennis / Wheelchair tennis
The Ndlovu Care Group works with the SA Wheelchair Tennis Association. 7 wheelchair users from the community receive professional training twice a week from a licensed wheelchair coach.
Fun fact
The Ndlovu Care Group supports the participation of participants in the rehabilitation program at the Para-Olympic Games. One of the participants, who was trained in wheelchair tennis, is now a professional in the international tennis world: Danny Mohlamonyane.

Ndlovu Youth Choir
Since its foundation in 2009, the choir has had a profound impact on the lives of its members. This project is a shining example of the fact that success is independent of social background or education.
Fun fact
Since its establishment in 2009, the Hugo Tempelman Foundation has actively supported the children and young people of the Ndlovu Youth Choir. From the dusty streets of Elandsdoorn to the international stages.
