Once again this year, we cannot thank the sports enthusiasts at ENERGETIX enough for their commitment. Last weekend, a total of 80 ENERGETIX runners took part in the Gutenberg Marathon in aid of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation.
Liesje Tempelman and Joey Kelly are back at the start of the Gutenberg Marathon
As every year, the runners were supported by Liesje Tempelman and her son Koon. Joey Kelly also ran in the blue ENERGETIX jersey for the foundation’s projects. And he did so despite appearing on a talk show in Berlin the evening before. What’s more, Flieger arrived late on Sunday. But for a professional like Joey Kelly, even a few minutes are enough to get ready to run and show commitment!
Energetix donates a total of 6,000 euros
After the run, ENERGETIX Managing Director Roland Förster and Joey Kelly had the opportunity to explain the purpose of their participation to the audience on the SWR stage. As part of the half marathon, the company donates 2 euros per kilometer run to the projects of the Hugo Tempelman Foundation. Although the company thankfully pays the registration fee for all ENERGETIX runners, some of them donated the fee to the foundation from their own pockets. As a result, 6,000 euros were raised this year in perfect weather conditions.
