Dimakatso Kunene: From Jorishaus to the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023

A special concern of the cooperation between the Hugo Tempelman Foundation and the Ndlovu Care Group in South Africa is the support and promotion of disabled children and young people who receive special care at Jorishaus. The participation of Dimakatso Kunene, a young person from Jorishaus, in the Special Olympics, which took place this summer in Berlin, Germany, was a great success.

Dimakatso was selected to represent South Africa at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 due to her great talent and intensive training. She is dedicated to the sport of boccia. Despite her physical challenges, she has proven that determination can overcome obstacles.

Her participation in the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 is not only a personal triumph, but also a symbol of the opportunities available to disabled children and young people if they receive the help and support they need. The constant support that has been provided for many years has been made possible largely thanks to regular, generous donations from ENERGETIX Bingen. The story of Dimakatso Kunene is an example of how the Hugo Tempelman Foundation and the Ndlovu Care Group are helping to improve the lives of disabled children and young people in South Africa.
