CHAMP children’s program

To support orphans and vulnerable children in rural communities, the Ndlovu Care Group has launched the CHAMP children’s program. Needy children are identified and visited. The entire well-being of the children is taken care of, not just their health, social and emotional well-being. Economic and housing conditions are also taken into account and improved. Children who do not attend school are encouraged to enrol and it is also ensured that school fees can be paid and school uniforms purchased. Drop-outs are persuaded to return to school.

If you would like to help make it possible for children to attend school, you can also donate for a school uniform directly here on our website. This is a prerequisite for the children to be able to attend classes.

To support the children, CHAMP’s school support program arranges recreational activities and homework supervision for these children, improving their life skills, resilience and educational opportunities. The program also ensures that children are distracted from their difficult circumstances through play and sport. Social integration, discussions, school incentives and support are also included. The program works with local schools to monitor the children’s progress at school. The program supports all orphans and vulnerable children of school age from 1st to 12th grade.
