Thomas Leuschner’s extraordinary achievement – his participation in the 2014 Ostseeman – not only earned him recognition from all sides, but also an incredible amount of money. Via betterplace.org, €10,183 was collected for the Hugo Tempelman Foundation for Leuschner’s campaign.
That is an impressive sum for an amazing achievement. Thomas covered the distance of 226 km, consisting of 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running, in 14 hours and 56 minutes. He reports on his feat in his blog. He “learned a lot. Among other things, how difficult it is to motivate people to donate. – THANK YOU!”. We also say THANK YOU for this unprecedented effort.
