ENERGETIX Bingen has been supporting the work of Hugo Tempelman in South Africa since 2008. This year, the company once again handed over a generous cheque for 155,000 euros at the annual catalog launch party at the end of August. Barbara Schöneberger hosted the evening for the third time. Participants from 23 countries traveled to Berlin for the occasion.
And they all followed the action on stage with rapt attention. Hugo Tempelman gave a personal presentation of his work and his projects. A moving film summarized the remarkable results of ENERGETIX’s continuous support: Thanks to this help, a total of 2838 children were born at the mother and child clinic. 538 mothers were HIV-positive and have given birth to 538 HIV-negative babies. That is a huge success. Over the years, ENERGETIX has donated a total of 1,000,000 million euros. This year’s cheque for 155,000 euros was accepted by Hugo Tempelman together with his wife Liesje and Vivi Eickelberg from ENERGETIX owner and Managing Director Roland Förster.
